Sand point well For garden or survival and farm use

Sand Point wells can be done anywhere water is shallow and formations are soft. Many ways to do it. First before starting, remember this is labor intensive and not for anyone with bot belly and soft hands. Also sand point well is great for cheap shallow water, but GPM output is limited to 2 to 12 gallons per minute, because a sand point well has small screen and casing. No matter how much water is there, you only can get so much water through this small diameter screen area. For a small garden and just to have a outlaw prepper water source, it will do and be fine.
If you plan on watering large acreages, you will need larger well. There are some DIY well links and tips at www.drillcat.com to help you. To know if one can be done in your area, don't look on water logs, most water formation logs will not show shallow aquifers. Also well drillers who turn in well logs to the state, always show deeper water formations. Remeber, shallow wells don't pay motror home  payments. Deep wells do. 100% of all well drilling contractors charge by the foot. So even if they charge 20.00 per ft, on a 35ft well, they would not make enough cash. This is why there favorite words are ( I found water, but it not very good. We need to go deeper.) .  Also sand point well casing is too small to install submergiable pump, so you will need centrifacal above grond pump. these are cheaper though and easy to install and can be bought at any discount lumber yard.
